Concentration
I was very pleased with my concentration peice. I used watercolor and watercolor pencils for my medium. I was trying to give the feel of river rocks but it ended up looking more like a cell of some for which is fine. My color scheme was cool colors. After doing this project ive discover how much I enjoy watercolor and I'm interested to experiment with it.
Contrast
For for this contrast project, i personally struggled severly. Cutting and pasting paper is not a strength of mine and i found it very difficult to transfer my sketches to the actually cut paper. My contrast was suppose to simulate falling objects. I have a feeling that if I had thought more about placement and variation of shape I think this peice would have been more successful.

Radiation
For my radiation peice i tried to give the allusion of a tunnel and depth, I used the contrasting colors black and white. My piece has centrifugal and concentric structures. Difficulties i had with this project was marker manipulation, the longer i work at it though it seemed to get easer. I enjoyed this project alot besides the slight challenge of marker control.

Gradation Assignment
.jpg)
For my gradation project I chose a concentric structure and my letter H changed in size depending on how close it was to the focal point. I chose a complementary color scheme of blue and orange (My medium was sharpie). Difficulties I had with this project was neatness. I had a hard time making straight marks the smaller the figure. Constistancy of letter thickness was a challenge too but I believe I did a fair job on this assignment. If I could to this project again I would use a ruler.
